It is with great sorrow that we announce the closing of www.tristan-rogers.com. Tristan has informed us that everything pertaining to him will now be handled by his official site. Since he feels he no longer needs the support and services of www.tristan-rogers.com, and, I guess, by extension the 2400 fans that come here every month, even though Tristan did not ask us to close down the site, we’ve decided that it’s time to call it a day.

In the past, Tristan had always stated that he liked having the 2 sites as we each gave something different to his fans. We were assured on various occasions that even with his “new” site, we would still be handling his charity auctions and that things would continue on as they had for the past year. Why he’s suddenly changed his mind, we have no idea. He stated that it was a “business decision”. It is absolutely his choice to do this and we respect Tristan’s right to handle his business the way he sees fit. That being said, there are many fans that come here who refuse, for their own reasons, to visit his official site. It is the fans who will be hurt most by this. For that, we are very sorry.

Almost from the beginning, Tristan was “involved”. He knew about everything we did, he made decisions about Project Cuddle, etc. He also occasionally posted on T-R. We’ve always been more than just a fan site.

Over the past year and a half, we have looked the other way when lies were told about us on other websites. We were forced to deal with content being repeatedly taken from our site, sloppily altered and used on Tristan’s official website, by his admins, as their own. “Board wars/fan base wars” would start up somewhere and no matter that we and our website had nothing to do with it, we were always dragged into it and blamed. And yes, we even overlooked it when a couple of weeks ago, our site was hacked. We’ve reached the end.

In the past year and a half, great friends were made, fabulous times were had and a lot of money was raised for Project Cuddle. Speaking of Project Cuddle, we still have a few items to auction off and will do that, just not under the www.tristan-rogers.com name. When the items are ready, the information will be posted on Soapzone. We’d like to thank each and every one of you for your time, your devotion and your support. We’ve truly appreciated it.
